Finding Your GWB Fit

Forget Everything Standard Size Charts Taught You

Mass-market clothing brands build their sizes for a single "average" model and simply scale the fabric up horizontally. The result? Shirts that turn into baggy tents, collars that sag, and shorts that pinch your thighs the moment you sit down, if they fit at all.

At Gentlemen Who Brunch, we threw out the standard industry blueprints and created our pieces from scratch to compliment broader backs, formidable shoulders, and solid builds.

Welcome to a sizing system designed exclusively for men of grander proportions.

The GWB Anatomy: How We Re-Engineered the Basics

The James Tee Anatomy

  • The Broad-Shoulder Cut: We added precision room across the upper back and shoulders so you can move your arms without the fabric pulling or pulling the neck out of alignment.

  • The Clean Drop: Tailored to drape cleanly over the torso, and is slightly tapered at the back to avoid the dreaded "tent look".

  • The Stay-Put Hem: Extra length and a subtle curved hem mean your shirt stays down, even when you reach up.

The Barty Shorts Anatomy

  • The Thigh Clearance: Cut with extra breathing room through the seat and thighs, so they look tailored when you stand and feel weightless when you sit.

  • The Hidden Flex: A premium waistband meant to sit slightly below your belly button to flatter your figure.

  • The Modern Length: Designed to sit perfectly right above the knee, creating a balanced, sharp silhouette, that is perfect for brunch.

The Alex Belt

The Alex belt is crafted in cotton and leather and is braided to seamlessly adjust to your body at any size. The belt measures 135cms and is 35cms longer than the standard leather belt in most high-street stores, and has a slight stretch.

The Cornelius and The Jeremy Belts

The Cornelius and Jeremy belts are crafted in a highly stretchy blend of polyester and elastodiene fibers and top-grain leather accents. The belt measures 135cms and is 35cms longer than the standard leather belt in most high-street stores. It can also stretch up to 250cms, and comfortably fit up to a size 7XL.

The GWB Sizing Guide

We don't use standard size labels because our fits aren't standard. Find your match based on not just your measurements, but also how you like wearing your clothes. Since our garments have been cut specifically with your body in mind, there is no need to size up unless you like wearing our t-shirts slightly less tailored.

Our Barty shorts will also sit comfortably slightly below your waist, so keep this in mind when choosing your size.

How to Measure (The Simple Way)

Grab your favorite-fitting t-shirt from your current wardrobe, lay it flat on a table, and take two quick measurements:

  1. The Chest: Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it flat under your arms and straight across your back.

  2. Back Length (shoulder to shoulder): How to measure: Measure across your back from the outer edge of one shoulder bone to the outer edge of the other.
  3. The Length: Measure from the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the bottom hem.
